    No pics........no pics at all

I took the laptop in for a new hard drive . So I had to reload my Nikon software onto it . Ever since I did this I have been unable to post any pics from my puter onto the forum .

I get a failure to load message .

Anybody have an idea what is going on?

What is the relationship between the Nikon software and the photos that were already on your drive (or reloaded from a backup)?

Just make sure its converting image files into JPG format. Also make sure your Nikon app is up to date. (Look for updates on their website)

    DSCN2342.jpg

    Successful test.
It was the size of the pics . I had not used my camera for awhile . Apparently when the battery died and it sat idle it defaulted back to factory settings which made the pics too large.

    Thanks for everyone's responses .

IrfanView is a free graphics program that does a lot of neat things, not just file resizing. You might want to download it and give it a try. You can set it as default to open all your .jpg or .jpeg files if you like using it. I save my pictures from the camera in the camera size and then open them in my graphics programs (Irfanview being one of the ones I use) and do whatever I need to do with them to get a final one that I name with a descriptive name. That way I have the original huge file size and also the new smaller one with its own name.
If you think changes need to be made - get out and DO SOMETHING positive!

I bet there is a resizing option in my extensive Nikon software downloads Granny . I just need to take the time to learn more about it.

Photoshop CS2 is free now that it's so old that Adobe doesn't support it any longer. No pirating, no crack, etc. The activation codes are right on the site.

If you download to a Windows 10 machine you will have to run in Windows 7 compatibility mode. No big deal.

It is a full install with all features of the original with unlimited usage. There are no updates available.

    Download from here:
