The only place we have local is Dick's and I won't do business with them. This was simply a chance to get one locally.

I can top that ... I was recently offered a Ruger model 89 with 4 Mags and a Ruger Security Six in .357 both in mint condition and 250 rounds for each gun for $700 ... that's for both guns and the ammo. Thing is ... I already have too many guns I don't shoot and at my age I don't even buy green bananas let alone more guns.

Lowest I've seen in a Wally World for a base model was $329.00.
I scarfed my base model up for $299.00 .... call it $300.00

@Preacher, does Wally World sell firearms in your area?

I just saw the base model Henry .22 in WalMart for $275 yesterday. Darned if you haven't got me thinking about going down there & buying it!

Not really. That is not someplace I enjoy shopping (not that I enjoy shopping).

Hey, I don't enjoy shopping much at all, but that won't keep me from going into Wally World to get a really good deal!

Wally World here doesn't have all that great a deal on ammo. We have a farm store called Rural King that has better prices and is closer for me. All of the other shopping the wife does.

Well, @Preacher, you were a bad influence. No, wait, a good influence!

    I went & done it!

Really fun little gun, and I couldn't beat the price! Ran a hundred rounds or so through it this evening - just plinking at tree stumps & Coke cans & stuff, but it's a keeper!
