I checked their site. Looked like they had a good price on American Eagle FMJ 95 gr .380acp, but with sales tax and shipping it came out to more than I've been paying. Would like to support them because it's a TN company. If the price of the ammo was low enough to make the total with tax and shipping the same or a bit lower than SGammo or TargetSports USA I'd be happy to order from them.

I watch pennies, and 2 or 3 cents a round difference x 1000 rounds times a few years' purchases adds up to a few bucks in the bank.

I have no idea what the % markup is on ammunition so no way of knowing how competitive any one company can be and make enough to pay their overhead.

I have the same problem with Natchez based out of Chattanooga. I can't even avoid the shipping costs as they have no brick and mortar storefront. Most of my ammo comes to me tax and shipping free. Now I have to move it all this weekend to its new home in TN.

Drive VERY carefully! Gramps did that when we moved from Ohio to TN with the van loaded with ammo. Fortunately there were no idiot drivers and he didn't get in a wreck.

Ha, ha. Made it safely. It was strange being one of the slowest vehicles on the road. I had no idea how heavy all that ammo was until I had to load and unload the truck. All are safely tucked away along with all the things that go pew pew.

Let me know if you see a good deal on .38 special bulk like that. They have it for $299 for 1000 rounds, but I am looking for better than that. I am in TN also, and would be subject to state sales tax.

Ammoseek has a whole bunch of listings, as low as 18.5 cents per round if you don't care about the brand or aluminum cases.

And Outdoor Limited has CCI aluminum cased .38 special for 10.25 cents per round. Not sure what their shipping is.

I am looking for brass. I am collecting it for when the BF starts to do reloading.

fedarm is not Federal. They are a reloader who claims to use only one-fired military or police brass. The reviews suck.
