Here's something that you don't see often. A 12 gauge with a silencer on it with a can that is rated for both 20 gauge and 12 gauge.

    Just because I can.

That's plenty enough reason in my book.

When I take that shotgun to guns shows, that is the gun that get picked up the most. Everyone wants to check it out so I put it in a rack just for that.

It looks heavy but most people comment on how light it is. The duck hunters love it as do the dove hunters.

Hot guns that is awesome. I would really like to have a can on a 12 gauge. Especially when calling coyotes or so you don't wake the kids up when a burglar breaks in

I have a question about your weapon light. Is that the newer Surefire LED version? (DEF?) Have you had any problems with the battery drawing down, especially if you don't turn off everything with the master switch? I've seen many reports of the problem, and a few reports that it has been (or has not been) fixed.

I have the older incandescent version on my 807, which has a habit of turning on in a case. I'm thinking about replacing it. (See my post #16 for a photo of my setup.) I've been happy with my Surefire, but want more light at lower battery consumption. I don't want to pay $$$ to swap one problem for another.

    Thanks!

Not much stuff added...I just changed the buttstock with a Hogue 12Ē LOP and the sling is a simple M-16 issue sling.
I do have a three point sling that I like it a lot but I donít use it, unless I do patrol training....
I donít have any other firearm so I am trying to do my best with this....I had purchased the shotgun five years ago for IPSC matches and home defense.after I lost my job I couldnít afford the matches and I started using the shotgun for hunting too...hahaha .... I am in better condition now and I will probably buy another shotgun for hunting.... maybe a single shot since my wife wants to learn how to shoot...

The first step is the one you believe in.
The second one might be profound.

This one is a Stevens 67 that has a butt plate made from 1/4" thick stainless steel. It helps with balance but the idea was it could be used to make an attitude adjustment.

I have a stainless Winchester Model 1200 pump that I bought back in the 80's. 18" barrel, 3" or 2 3/4". I love the thing and it is my go-to for home defense.

PS Take the time to pattern your shotgun. It will tell you what it likes best and what gives the best groupings at varying distances. Mine likes #2 and #4 buck best.

My Christmas present at 14 was a Win 1200. Still have it, will never get rid of it. It has been no less than perfect over many years of use. I would have made it my HD shotgun if I could have found an 18" barrel for it to replace its 28" modified tube.

For your 14th birthday...sheesh, I figured it was a brand new Blunderbuss:

Remington 870 7+1 with Archangel side saddle. Forend had to get cut to accommodate the side saddle.

A man, without force, is without the essential dignity of humanity. Human nature is so constituted, that it cannot honor a helpless man, although it can pity him; and even this it cannot do long, if the signs of power do not arise.

That's really nice Preacher! I've been looking to make my 870 more into a HD gun.
What mag extension tube is that?
