The bump stock doesn't do anything that a belt loop can't, or Jerry Miculecks finger. I'm not for banning belt loops or fingers...

The guitarist, Adam Jones, shows a great talent especially in the beginning of the song before it gets a bit "heavy metal" for my tastes. The bassist, Justin Chancellor, is very good as well and seems to hold the band together musically.

My main criticism is with the lyrics. I read the comments on You Tube and apparently I stand alone on this. I think they need to hire a lyricist. I just didn't get it.

Completely agree about Danny Carey. How that guy has the stamina to play drums for tool, on tour, at almost 60 years old is amazing to me.

I think the lyrics are pretty profound, but I didn't know how it all tied together until I looked up the title of the song. Pneuma is a Greek word for breath, spirit, or soul of a person. Once I learned that, the lyrics made a lot of sense. I think Maynard writes lyrics that require people to search for the meaning, either through looking up words, or contemplation. This song, to me (short version), is about not letting your soul (we are spirit bound to this flesh) get tied down to the minutia of this life (go around one foot nailed down). And if it is, wake up (this guise, this mask) and release the light (soul) and become something great.

I like his lyrical style, but the way the band plays, with all of the off timing and the way they connect seemingly random timing so smoothly and make it sound like nothing I have heard from other bands, is what keeps me coming back. "

I think the people who have never fired a gun at a target don't understand how hard it is to hit it unless you've had lots of practice and good co-ordination. Hitting a large flat target on a range is relatively easy, but add movement and dramatically smaller size and it becomes a real challenge. When you have one chance to get it right or you might die, you can't waste that one chance on a lucky leg shot.

I also think a lot of the misconception comes from TV and movies where they can take down the bad guy with one shot, under any conditions and in the dark. "

The groups I shoot with required closed toe shoes or you can't participate. Part of the reason for that is the range "floor" is gravel. The other part is safety, both for stability of stance and to prevent "hot feet." Two months ago a woman showed up at our Women's League in flip flops. One of the other women graciously offered to let her use her tennis shoes, so when one was shooting with the shoes on the other could reload her magazines. "

There was a couple to my left, taking turns shooting. It seemed that when he was shooting most of his brass was determined to attack me. I know that part of what he/they were shooting was .22 but not sure of what else. I wear safety glasses and a baseball cap to protect my head and eyes, and normally wear a high neck shirt - turtle neck it if is not TOO hot outside. Today I wore a women's top that had a medium high neck, but not like I usually wear. MISTAKE!

For the first time ever I got hot brass in my shirt! My top was obviously a bit too loose around the neck area. SUDDENLY - YEP - one hot casing went in and down, stuck at my waist - and then as I pulled out the waist of my jeans to get it to fall it stuck at the top of my thigh, so I was doing a real fancy dance and at the same time pulling out on my pant leg and shaking it like crazy.

Jerry, the range officer, came over to me with a grin and said "Hot brass?".......you can't mistake THAT DANCE! Finally it did fall out the bottom of my pants leg. Didn't leave any marks on me, but it was definitely hot.

This evening I did find 3 "red dots" on my neck, above where the neck of the shirt was. Whether that was more of his brass that hit and bounced off, or bits of sprall, I'm not sure. What I am sure of is that I'm going back to turtle necks no matter what the weather!
You should try a,22 lr bullet that stops against the sternum. Burns like the very devil .

Wife has caught some hot 9mm brass down her top. Probably similar dance too. "

Nakyak created the thread New Tool album: Fear Inoculom.
" It's been 13 years since Tool released an album, and quite honestly it might be their best. I can't stop listening to it and wanted to start a thread about it. For those that don't follow Tool, their famous for their use of Poly-rhythm and Poly-meter.

Poly-rhythm is the simultaneous use of two or more rhythms that are not readily perceived as deriving from one another, or as simple manifestations of the same meter. The rhythmic conflict may be the basis of an entire piece of music (cross-rhythm), or a momentary disruption.

A Poly-meter is when two or more performers are playing different time signatures.

There are many Tool songs that utilize this rhythm, but this one is almost unbelievable to me. This is so next level, even for Tool. I'll posts some more songs from the album but this might be the best song on the album. I highly recommend headphones to hear all of the intricacies.

I heard someone say that Tool was a newer generations Pink Floyd. I'm not sure I disagree with that. Pink Floyd moves me the same way Tool does.

He's a good president in many many ways.

But I'll state, now and say I was wrong if he gets elected again and doesn't go after the RTKABA with a vengence. "

I tried to read the whole report getting down 2 the AR and looking like something out of this world so I concluded it had to be a bumpstock. Had to stop every 4 or 5th word to http://duckduckgo.com for definitions and used in a sentence with 10-20 examples.

Looks like we all got all amped up for nuttin the 45th PRESIDENT Trump got us all. I wonder how much that Anon or Q had to do with this when the smoke clears. I know I was considering writing the POTUS some snail mail and letting him know we all felt he was with us. Had some remarks about those dirty underhanded RF laws too. I took extreme care not to sound threatening. Haven't wrote it yet.

In 2015 we got these AR Pistols that just oozed the rest of YOUR LIFE BEHIND BARS. after F Troop busted you. Plus they had the Lucas McCain *Rifleman* rifle.

Weve had climate change as long as I can remember. Its called Four Seasons. And sometimes weve had super cold winters! And sometimes weve had super mild winters.

The leftists have admitted their climate change hoax was created to end capitalism.

ShooterGranny created the thread Doing the Range Dance!.
" This evening was our last Pistols and Potluck group for the year. It was a small turnout with not enough people to justify using both the lower range and the upper all-steel range, so everyone went up to the steel range. There is a pavilion with a long "shooting table/bench" and any number of people (up to maybe 6) can stand wherever they wish and shoot the steel targets in the area in front of them.

In the sense that it could have been a 4yr old kid, or grandma, or the neighbor checking on things, or, yes, a burglar. Imagine if grandma had been the one taken out by the device.

I'm all for halting burglars and forcible entrants to residences. Harshly, if caught personally, given the dire threat to life and limb. But, all things considered, the downside aspects of the booby-trap method make it hard to justify. (A bit like driving 140mph on a highway, in the USA; which, while perfectly reasonable, perhaps, at 2am on a remote stretch of Nevada highway, gets hard to justify when it's vastly more likely for others to be around and mowed over because of such speed.)
