I think it is going to backfire on the Dem's this time. Finally. She has no credibility and it is so long ago that this is a joke. And the accuser keeps stalling now, I think to prolong this out for politiacl reasons.

I think this was a very bad move on the Dems and it will bite them in the butt. Funy thing is that they were poised for a decent mid term election. This good sway enough to go against them.

Sometimes keeping your mouth shut is the best thing. "

Siam created the thread This disturbing:Elizabeth Smart's kidnapper to leave prison Wednesday.
" Prison is for rehabilitation AND punishment (my opinion of course). No way this lady should be released.

Elizabeth Smart's kidnapper to leave prison Wednesday

anda Barzee, one of two people who abducted 14-year-old Elizabeth Smart in 2002, will be released from a Utah prison sometime Wednesday.

Barzee was serving a 15-year sentence when the Utah Board of Pardons and Parole unexpectedly credited her with 2,436 days for time served, moving up her release date from 2024.
Smart, now 30, urged officials to reconsider releasing the woman who assisted in her kidnapping and rape, saying she's still a threat to the community. Barzee's lawyer said the 72-year-old woman has done her time and deserves a chance to prove that she's ready to return to society.
Barzee pleaded guilty in 2010 to kidnapping and unlawful transport of a minor for the purposes of sexual activity. In exchange for her plea and testimony against her husband, Brian Mitchell, she received lenience in sentencing.
I have no problems with the pleas deal to get the other scum bag to serve longer. I have a problem with the early release. "

Thank you, I see he was exempt from the CA laws. My post still stands. What did he do wrong now that would have been unlawful in the late 1700's? Nothing. He bought and sold and sold guns. Isn't that what we want, no Government oversight to buy and sell property? "

" I see where the accuser wants everyone else to prove her case for her. She's the accuser, and she wants others to prove their innocence. That's messed up. He is supposed to prove he's innocent of something that has no date, no set place in the city, and that sounds really, really strange. (She's wearing at least two layers of clothing and thinks he's going to kill her because, why? I think she's nuts.)

And everyone is going along with this. As though Kavanaugh has to prove he's innocent of some vague unsubstantiated claim before she even has to show the validity of the claim. Isn't there ANYONE with common sense at that level? No one to say to her "Prove it or shut up." "

TN_Mike created the thread We the People Holsters....not impressed.
" I was looking for an OWB holster for my VP9sk and I looked at this company, We the People Holsters, and found one I liked. American flag design, paddle, for the VP9sk. I ordered it. It took right at a month for the order to be fulfilled and the holster to be delivered to me. For that kind of wait time, I'd expect a kydex holster to at least be good. But, this holster is not. It looks good, but the kydex is thinner than any other I've ordered, from Vedder or even low cost companies like Concealment Express ($35!) and the We the People holster was $55. Not real expensive but still. And, to add to this, my gun does NOT "click" into the holster as it should. In fact, it does not lock in at all. I can put the gun in the holster (unloaded of course) and turn it upside down and with an easy shake the gun just slips out.

I am not at all impressed with this holster and I have contacted them and started the process for a return and refund. And before anyone asks "Why not try and let them make it right?" I will say it's because that even if they fix the problem of the gun not locking into the holster, it is still made of kydex that is far too flexible and the retention adjustment screw is way too low on the holster, which keeps it from really being able to do what it is supposed to do.

Your experience could be different but, I'm not happy with the product and I'm returning it. "

" Siam, here's the deal. No one is saying he doesn't have the right to protest, and in fact, many of us have spent much of our lives ensuring he has that right.

If his beef is as he says--police treatment of blacks--he should be standing in front of every PD with a sign and microphone protesting to his heart's content.

He isn't.

He should be attending city council meetings to voice his concerns over the treatment of blacks.

He isn't.

Instead, he--and other sorry wannabes like him--choose to gain personal attention in front of the obliging cameras to disrespect what has nothing to do with his cause and is offensive to many of us.

It is not that he protests; it is the manner by which he chooses to do so. So in protest of his actions, many of us choose to conduct our own protest by dumping Nike, the NFL, and anyone and anything that stands behind a sorry, unappreciative, washed-up ex-player.

You can choose to support him if you wish--we ain't buying it no matter the argument. "

Kilowatt3 created the thread Attn: All K-31 or Schmidt-Rubin Fans! Hunting Advice!.
" Hi All,

I'm getting a wild hair to go hog hunting with my K-31, but just wondering about ammo. In the past, I've only hunted hogs with a .30-30.

I have a good stock of the G11 military ammo, but I don't think that would be the best choice for hunting hogs. I have dies for reloading 7.5x55, but I'm not really set up for reloading at present, plus I do not have any reloadable brass. The only 7.5mm Swiss that I'm seeing available, aside from the G11, is Hornady 165 gr. or Prvi 174 gr. SP's.

Anybody have any real-world experience hunting with 7.5x55 Swiss? Any suggestions?

TIA "

Well, Stormy used it to restart her, uhh, career again. She's too busy.

Herman Cain's accusers?

How about we hear from Bill Clinton's accusers again? That would be fun. Maybe he would lose his pension.

And I saw something on this site* about releasing all the money we paid to settle Congressional sexual harassment charges. I'd totally forgotten about that coverup we've paid for. Let's get that out in the open and have all those Congressmen (women?) resign and lose their pensions and benefits. I don't care what party they belong to. I do wonder, are any of them on the Senate Judiciary Committee? Now, wouldn't that be a hoot?!

*It was another site I saw that on. If I find it, I'll post it in the political memes. "

A doctor opening up a clinic in a rural town who's main employment is logging, fishing, and farming is going to have a lot of patients begging for relief from pain right ?
People from all over the country were soon coming to the Rinehart clinic for help. Anybody interested check these two article's out. They show all the issues involved in this topic from the beginning to the concerns today......https://www.wweek.com/portland/artic...ex.ssf/2013/05

Saving drugheads is not hurting the fight against cancer. The will is or tech challenges are, not $$$'s.
Regardless of saving a dime, I have little sympathy for self-induced pain and suffering by those who play with drugs. I'd cut foreign aid before I cut a single fighter from the inventory. No return on investment there either. "

Don't now.
It is not like you are getting stuff for free or whining about it if you do not LOL. Just a free service for folks that want to avial themselves of a discount. Just like an AARP discount or clipping a coupon out of a magazine.

I do not fuss if someone does not give LE, First Responders, Mil discounts. I will take them if they have them though. It is crazy not to. I am getting a 500 discount for being retired from the mil to get my foundation piers put in. "

I mean its a LIE. Yep dopes od on dope of various ,usually cheapest kinds.

Has nothing to do with patients and doctors. Anymore than any other OD.

All this gov BS is doing is making it impossible for legitimate patients to get adequate pain management. "

I am a compassionate man. However, after talking to a few LEO friends who know others in areas where overdoses are common, my opinion may be changing. They tell me stories of cops and EMS people giving the same people Narcan over and over again. Their feeling is the druggies are not so worried about overdosing as they used to because they know that Narcan can bring them back. The general feeling is they should get their death wish seeing as they are working so hard to die and there is only a small percentage of them that get clean. I was told that, of course, that is only a feeling because of their sworn duty to help these people, but they feel Narcan is only making the problem worse. "
