Fair enough LOL!!

Here's my guess. OV had Bourbon...cause...well...that's all he ever has. You, on the other hand, are a wild card. If you went to a nice place, I'm guessing Tequila. If you went to some middle of the road place they probably didn't have any Tequila that you wanted. This is a tough one, but I'm going to say Tequila, unless they didn't have anything that you wanted, and you just decided to drink Bourbon with OV just to say you did

Of course the best answer is you took shots in the parking lot from the bottle you gave OV "

KSP trooper king mentions one shot by Morris though it's pretty well established it was two.

In the article King says it's not established if Morris was in the street or on Turlys property.
It makes no difference and King knows it. Fire a shot at a person here you can and probably will be fired back at in this state legally. Period.

And no his blah blah about same level of force if one fears serious bodily injury is hog wash.

Fearing serious bodily injury or death is a justification for deadly force here , not "same level of force" by statute.

He is right about one thing.
No you can't shoot a person for standing in your yard. But you can if that person is a threat to your life. Shooting at you, even from the street, is a threat to your life. Badge or no badge. "

JoJoGunn replied to the thread A Decent Article About Modern Civil War.
" It definitely will be complicated, battle lines blurred and the collapse of any kind of civilization will ensue. It will make the Bosnian conflict look like a fist fight, because of the population in the U.S. being extremely large.

In the American Revolution, it was fairly easy to recognized the enemy, the British, they wore scarlet red uniforms and everyone knew who they were. The Loyalists or Torrie's were a different sort, they looked much like the Colonials and was difficult to tell them apart from the rest of the population. Once found out however, they were targets for certain.

The American Civil War, War of Northern Aggression, War Between the States or whatever name is used was really not such a civil war as such. The Confederate side felt it was a war of independence from the U.S. and the Union felt that it was a war of rebellion. It was only called a "civil war" because Americans were fighting other Americans. People knew who the "enemy" was as soon as flags, uniforms and such became standard as much as possible in the South. The Union finally got their standardization in the middle of the war but the Southern boys knew the boys in blue as their enemy.

It was a war of power too. The Confederates wanted to replace the power in Washington, DC with the power in Richmond, VA. The Federals wanted to drag the seceding states back kicking and screaming and if a war did it then so be it. There were numerous issues but modern historians have watered it down to just one, slavery.

This new "civil war" will also be about racism. The Left screams it to the top of their progressive little lungs and will be their rallying cry. They have come to believe that anyone who disagrees with them are pretty much racist. They don't have a clue as to what racism really is.

Many of the progressive types talk loud, they go and riot a bit, but if they came under some real fire, saw some of their progressive Comrades dying from gunshot wounds right in front of them, they will break ranks and bolt for safety. They can talk, but when it comes to really going to a shooting/killing war, they don't have the guts for it. They would hope someone else would do that and they can bask in the achievements of others. I doubt seriously any Progressive type would sacrifice themselves for the cause, unless they are full blown mentally ill.

The Conservatives/Republican/ Right leaning folk will be just paranoid. People will be looking at each other and wondering what side they are on. It could lead to some itchy trigger fingers and one shooting incident of the wrong person will blow things up and start a major conflict. That is exactly what the Left wants, they want to antagonize but don't want to draw first blood either. They want the paranoia of Conservatives to start something so they can blame them for starting it.

It would be a blood bath. Millions of people will die and who knows how many will suffer horrendous wounds. Families, friends, Churches, neighborurs will all be split into having to choose what side they truly believe.

The saddest thing is that it will completely destroy the United States of America. It will no longer be that. "

It should be a fun gun ..Have you though about getting RMR mount

Oh and they are making a MK4 model now with a threaded barrel not that much of a price

I though about getting a dedicated silencer host gun but I still like the idea of being able to use a can on a lot of guns esp as a lot of 22lr cans are rated for up to 5.7 now "

Many people leave the military and government service and might take a few months before deciding on a job. If that job requires a gubermint clearance, you already have one. It is a bonus for the servicemember or government employee because it makes them more marketable and a bonus for the company hiring them since it saves money and resources.

I talked to someone last week that is retiring from the military. There is a 180 moratorium before he can start his government job. If they were to take his clearance away, he would probably not get the job.

It seems to not have been a problem until it became a political topic. That IMO is the only reason why it is an issue now.

A person clearance expires when the next BI is due. It is not like it stays there forever,

For a quick example you can look to the Van Duke murder, the withholding for a year the dash Cam evidence and the conspiracy and false sworn statements of 3 other officers to cover that murder up.

As too felons, they retain the same 4th A rights as anyone else.

There is, again, no legal constitutional basis for stop and frisk. Anywhere.

I've never done jury duty, but I've read some accounts that seemed bizarre. The selection process across the country seems to range from being "on call" for months at a time, with a short window to make it to the court house or face a fine, down to being locked into a room eight hours a day and having to be escorted to the bathroom by an armed bailiff. Sometimes it seems the jurors are being treated worse than convicted criminals... "

And so, I'd think the clearance/verification process results still makes sense for most to retain, if they're technically still likely to remain "in the family" (of companies needing such information).

But, if showing bad judgment, having a bad track record, having charges of corruption or crimes or whatever other indication of "threat" in one's record ...
You are correct. Either she is planning, all by herself, to not be involved any more OR someone asked her to gracefully bow out or else. Hence, my first post about her not being involved any more. Its all good "

I don't have to wait forever for hard to impossible to find anything!
The secret word is efficiency.
While most people hope for something to be effective.
They forget the most important factor which makes it efficient: Themselves.

A tube of blue paint will not paint a Monet all by itself, it needs direction.
Fortunately, gunsights are an easy task: One dot, one more dot, one more dot...

Apparently, the more difficult part is not to mess with it until it dries and cures.

And it will end. Likely with a irrelevant government replaced by a free grouping of like minded individuals into communitys. Instead of association with opposing attitude individuals forced by an out 9f control central gov as we have now. "

Good article. Many of the points he brought up we are already witnessing. I agree with him when he says
Forget “red state vs blue state” or “red county vs blue county” or even “rural vs urban.” The war will be on your street, and most will bunker down in their homes until the food and water run out. After that, I can’t model what will happen.

Oh wait. I get it. Sarcasm. Dumb me lol.

Odds are had the homeowner been killed by officer Morris, with no witnesses, Turley would have been portrayed as one of those crazies that just threw a cog , became a cop killer at 5 am and started shooting at officer Morris who just happened to conviently be at his fence.

With no video, or gaggle of witnesses there would have been no charges,
maybe a commendation for taking out another scum bag cop killing maniac.

Highly doubtful there will be any charges against Morriss for firing on the homeowner as it is. "

" Read it but his premise about geography is off.

Many states had brothers, father and son etc going off to fight on different sides.

It will be ugly and hard. Especially on those who have never lived without electric or hunted for food and can't sustain themselves.

That alone will eradicate many of the city dwellers and young socialist weenies.

Those who have those skills will survive and prevail. Not to mention become fairly financially well off in whatever goods are used as currency by hiring out those skills. "

On this site we are all pretty much conservatives or at least claim to be.
We grouse a lot about the liberals, very much expected, they do the same about us and then some.
I see some of our number who come out and say, hey we are not exactly lily white here either. We employ some of the same tactics etc.
I never ever see this coming from the liberal side, we are always the demons that want to destroy the planet etc. "

" From the article:

On Wednesday morning, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) shared a shocking new detail about last year's attack at the Republican congressional baseball practice. When the shooter, James Hodgkinson, began firing on the lawmakers, he reportedly shouted, "This is for health care!"
Why the heck didn't Rand Paul bring this up last year?

And does it really matter. We know it was politically motivated. I do not think anyone has reported otherwise. "

luvmy40 created the thread "Dichotomy of the Dems" or "Do as I say, not as I do".
" This is an issue at the local level for me but the question is pertinent at any level.

In our state senate race we have 2 candidates from my district, Michael Rulli(R.) and John Boccieri(D.), the incumbent.

Mr. Rulli is a well respected local business man and part of a long time family business, "Rulli Brothers" grocery stores. He is currently the Director of Operations for Rulli Brothers.

Mr. Boccieri is an Air Force reserve veteran where he serves as a C-130 pilot. Wikipedia implies he was active duty at one time but does not clarify if that was an activation or full enlistment. He's flown multiple sorties in Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. His only employment statistics are the AFR and his multiple political positions since his graduation from high school in 1988. He's a career politician.

Here's the question:

Boccieri filed a complaint against Rulli because the Rulli Bros. Markets were "Giving out Rulli for senate" yard signs and quoted the ORC(Ohio Revised Code) pertaining to campaign finance.

Quote Originally Posted by wfmj.com

http://www.wfmj.com/story/39208854/c...-at-rulli-bros

At a glance it looks like it might be a valid complaint.

Today I got a Democratic flyer in the mail advocating John Boccieri and it was full of pictures of Boccieri in uniform and on an AFR C-130 aircraft. This might seem innocent or inconsequential to most but it strikes a raw nerve with me.

I am a veteran of the Regular Army and the Air Force Reserves. I deployed with the 3rd Armored Cavalry to Kuwait and Iraq in Operation Desert Storm/Desert Shield and actually maintained the aircraft that Mr. Boccieri deployed with as an AFR C-130 Crew Chief. Not one like it, that particular C-130.

While serving in the AFR I received a letter of reprimand from my squadron commander because I dared make a "political comment" regarding the effectiveness of posting GFZ signs to a local business owner(Mickey's Army Navy) while in uniform that he did not agree with. Yet, it appears to OK to use AFR property in political add campaigns.

Hmm, once again it's all good if you are a Democrat but vile behavior if you are a conservative or Republican.

Any body know what the actual UCMJ code says about use of DOD property for political campaigns? "

Subsonic ammo should work with a Suppressor. They donít work well in one without, as I have done the same in a few semiautomatic firearms.

You can either have your Mark IV threaded, which doesnít cost much to do ($130-$140), get a threaded upper (which is more expensive), or have your pistol integrated with a Suppressor (I donít know the cost since I have a Ruger Mark II, and I didnít want to mess with mine). The bull barrel is amazing.

I tried the Lightweight 22/45 with the Suppressor but the balance was front heavy. Thatís why I opted for Stainless. Iím strong, have a strong grip, and it balances perfectly.

I filmed shooting it on Instagram (MuzzleblastMD), mostly one handed. But it feels much better when using two hands.

" My opinion, If everyone involved were held accountable tomorrow, our gov would shrink back a lot closer to constitutionally dictated levels over night. They can't allow that, It's a matter of national security.... As judicial watch states, she didn't do all this alone.. How many people in power in DC right now would you guess were completely aware of U1, Bengazi, the emails, What was on Weiners lap top, attempting to throw the election, attempted overthrow of a elected President. She was far from operating in a vacuum and I have no doubt names like Holder, Jarret, Obama among many others, if the truth be known would burn with her... That lap top IMO holds the key to many questions we will probably never have a answer to. My bet, some NYPD officers know the answers but wouldn't survive very long should their tongues be loosed. Many were directly involved at the top, and many many more knew and said nothing... IMO

A lot more evil going on here than most of us would even want to imagine. Again IMO "
