" Ehhhh they didn't even make the top of the fold on the evening news probably 15 minutes in before they were even mentioned. I just looked at the ABC news webpage and Not one of the shooting is mentioned you have to scroll all the way down and click on the US news tab to see them mentioned, they were no muss no fuss shootings as in no AR 15 seems to be involved, kids weren't involved and the situation was quickly resolved. In other words not enough Drama to waste good main webpage space on. But hey there is an article with Christy Tiegen baking something on Good Morning America. "

Nothing fancy, but a nice, solid shooter in .41LC! Lockup & timing appear to be perfect, the finish is OK, and I think I got a good deal on it.

Looking forward to running a few rounds through it. "

" Update. The DB9 has reached approx 800 RDS as of today.
Still not using any ammo Diamondback says not too in it.

As a result the little beast has fired every single round without fail.

Its not been babied. I usually carry it in my left front pocket as a BUG . But I have iwb carried it on the boat fishing over night getting it dirty and wet. Still 100 percent reliable function.

Anyway just a update the DB9 saga.

I at this point have no hesitation trusting the the little fire breather for SD. "

I had to have it. Mainly for the nostalgia of a gun owned by the likes of Elvis and portrayed in the movies, James Bond. It even lead to the demise of Hitler. The

I have read reliability is hit or miss, even between the Interarms and the S&W versions. In many cases, I have noticed that it boils down to maintenance, magazines, and ammunition.

So I ask the following :

1) What Ammunition works for yours?
2) Which magazines work for you? OEM, MEC GAR?
3) What type of lubrication do you use?
4) I read in a review that the trigger was 17 pounds. Felt like it was 11 # to me. Is it really that heavy across the board?

I donít plan to carry it for CCW, by the way.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...63a4a14876.png

I have watched hundreds of new benders come and mostly go over the years. Some do great work and stuck around. Some did great work but didn't last for any one of many reason. Most made garbage, made them quick and cheap then disappeared. Some made garbage and hung around somehow.

I can't speak about this particular company as I have never seen any of their products first hand. I'm not impressed by the pictures on their web store and the OP's story backs up my initial thoughts on what I saw there when I first became aware of them. "

He'd call me some names I can't type here and I'd give it right back to the scum ball in for a penny in for a pound. There were times I wanted to hose this maggot as he'd use every vile word he could conjure up to get at me. Every time he'd call me a cracker I'd laugh mainly due to where I grew up all I knew about crackers was my favorite types of crackers.Number one always been and always will be Ritz and I couldn't say when's the last time I had a mouthful of Ritz. Aside from movies mostly Shirley Temple I don't recall ever seeing a black until high school. A VERY CUTE lil black cheerleader that threw me a great smile once. None of the black kids at my school ever said anything remotely racist that I ever saw or heard.

I might add at that time on my YT profile I had up some pics of the Mike Brown tombstone that brought into question the truthfulness of his version against that of the cop who rightfully dropped this human in a pool of blood. YT in their infinite stupidity removed my pics. AK47killa took issue with my pics of the tombstone in which a poem was written that shed Mikey Brown in a poor light to which I still subscribe. This bum made sum poor choices. He paid the ultimate choice. His pal AK47killa? Never heard from him again. I figure he tried robbing someone one time too many and got exactly what he deserved,a plot 6 feet down. Calling me a cracker don't bother me a bit.

My chair is a LAZY Boy. The day it folds I mean to dismantle it piece by piece not just to look for coins tho I figure to find quite a few. I'll be looking for some keys. "

She may be many things, but one thing she ain't, is a lady.

Never could stand "heavy metal", though! Felt like it had lost the essence of real rock, and was mostly noise.

It was probably only a year or so ago that I first heard that some heavy metal band had done a remake of "Sound of Silence".

I was like, Attachment 16363. What a crock! One of these talentless, noise-generating bands of dopers really thought they could do, "Sound of Silence"???

Then I listened to "Disturbed", and I was speechless. Loved it, and still love it. I've probably played it 100 times since then. It's really a whole new song, somehow, even though the words and the melody are the same. It is absolutely brilliant. Captures the feel of both head-banging rock, and the gentleness of the 60's generation.

I'm with you - probably the best remake of all time!
Kilowatt3, I was born in '55 and grew up in the late '60s and early 70s. I was never into heavy metal, but because I had older siblings who dictated a lot of the music we listened to, I heard a LOT of Simon and Garfunkle.

I have a nephew who is so into heavy metal, he has a blog about it with a thousands of followers. He insisted that I listen to Disturbed's version and I did. Even Paul Simon gave it his seal of approval.

I have listened to it probably about 100 times too and can't get enough. BTW, their other music sucks. "

At least one person out there is characterizing her as what she is.

Barzee was an adult when she participated in the kidnapping, not some teenager influenced by an adult male.

Do you ever recover from being evil and become a productive member of society? The only reason she got a lighter sentence to begin with is because she agreed to testify against her husband...not because she was sorry she did it.

If I were Elizabeth Smart's parents and had the resources they have, I'd go after that woman with all the power I could possible muster. "

I think this was a very bad move on the Dems and it will bite them in the butt. Funy thing is that they were poised for a decent mid term election. This good sway enough to go against them.

Elizabeth Smart's kidnapper to leave prison Wednesday

anda Barzee, one of two people who abducted 14-year-old Elizabeth Smart in 2002, will be released from a Utah prison sometime Wednesday.

Barzee was serving a 15-year sentence when the Utah Board of Pardons and Parole unexpectedly credited her with 2,436 days for time served, moving up her release date from 2024.
Smart, now 30, urged officials to reconsider releasing the woman who assisted in her kidnapping and rape, saying she's still a threat to the community. Barzee's lawyer said the 72-year-old woman has done her time and deserves a chance to prove that she's ready to return to society.
Barzee pleaded guilty in 2010 to kidnapping and unlawful transport of a minor for the purposes of sexual activity. In exchange for her plea and testimony against her husband, Brian Mitchell, she received lenience in sentencing.
I have no problems with the pleas deal to get the other scum bag to serve longer. I have a problem with the early release. "

(She's wearing at least two layers of clothing and thinks he's going to kill her because, why? I think she's nuts.)

And everyone is going along with this. As though Kavanaugh has to prove he's innocent of some vague unsubstantiated claim before she even has to show the validity of the claim. Isn't there ANYONE with common sense at that level? No one to say to her "Prove it or shut up." "

TN_Mike created the thread We the People Holsters....not impressed.
" I was looking for an OWB holster for my VP9sk and I looked at this company, We the People Holsters, and found one I liked. American flag design, paddle, for the VP9sk. I ordered it. It took right at a month for the order to be fulfilled and the holster to be delivered to me. For that kind of wait time, I'd expect a kydex holster to at least be good. But, this holster is not. It looks good, but the kydex is thinner than any other I've ordered, from Vedder or even low cost companies like Concealment Express ($35!) and the We the People holster was $55. Not real expensive but still. And, to add to this, my gun does NOT "click" into the holster as it should. In fact, it does not lock in at all. I can put the gun in the holster (unloaded of course) and turn it upside down and with an easy shake the gun just slips out.

I am not at all impressed with this holster and I have contacted them and started the process for a return and refund. And before anyone asks "Why not try and let them make it right?" I will say it's because that even if they fix the problem of the gun not locking into the holster, it is still made of kydex that is far too flexible and the retention adjustment screw is way too low on the holster, which keeps it from really being able to do what it is supposed to do.

Your experience could be different but, I'm not happy with the product and I'm returning it. "

If his beef is as he says--police treatment of blacks--he should be standing in front of every PD with a sign and microphone protesting to his heart's content.

He isn't.

He should be attending city council meetings to voice his concerns over the treatment of blacks.

He isn't.
Exactly and he won't because that would require something of him besides sitting on his lazy rear, on his employer's dime, and saying "look at me". Just glad I don't have to watch it. "

" When I was going thru my ruptured disc problem I could of used some help with the pain. I didn't get any and never could figure out what Tylenol Three was good for. Six months of pain and the only relief came from laying on my back. Could of been embarrassing but by that time I didn't care what it looked like. I'd say excuse me folks and down I'd go. Lol. I don't know what I could have done if I couldn't have found a position to ease the pain. "

The Paris Gun could "only" reach 81 miles and the shells were sequentially numbered because barre wear made progressively larger diameters necessary. After every 65 rounds it had to be rebarreled. "

Instead, he--and other sorry wannabes like him--choose to gain personal attention in front of the obliging cameras to disrespect what has nothing to do with his cause and is offensive to many of us.

It is not that he protests; it is the manner by which he chooses to do so. So in protest of his actions, many of us choose to conduct our own protest by dumping Nike, the NFL, and anyone and anything that stands behind a sorry, unappreciative, washed-up ex-player.

You can choose to support him if you wish--we ain't buying it no matter the argument.
I agree 100% OV. With the fame these guys have, they could do a lot of good for their cause. Open up a dialog with Law Enforcement, hold Town Hall meetings and get both sides. With their fame they could get a fantastic audience. Heck, I would be willing to bet they could get national TV coverage. Keep it calm and civil. But oh wait. That's not what they want, is it? "
