    Three questions:

    1) Is my 9mm enough to take the coyote down?

    2) Are they good to eat?

    3) Can a coyote really eat a car?

    Sarcasm off!

OMG .... what stupidity ... they sure don't know much about coyotes. They are more afraid of humans typically, then anyone is of them. Have run into a few that weren't. The growling , blood on it's face, well. ...... most likely had something like a cat, rabbit, etc. it had killed and guarding it's food source and telling them to back off. And to top it all off..... they are sitting in a friggin vehicle. I think the announcers are dumber then the people are when they said ,.... "they are lucky to be alive tonight" . ROFLMAO.

Stupid urbanites, maybe they need to get out of the city more often.

    A 9mm may expand but, a 45 doesn't shrink...

    Caliber War! It's on!

I wouldn't approach that coyote with anything less than an AR-10.

We'ld pick off one's trying to get the chickens with a .22LR single shot rifle. Attitude was , you couldn't put em down with that , you shouldn't be shooting. It was harder if they were running ..... may hit and wound in a critical area , and then finish them off with the next shot. I remember our frustration when a cousin was the one with the gun and kept shooting behind him .... told him, give us the rifle moron .... but he wouldn't . He hit it in the back left leg and that coyote never missed a step as he ran off on 3 legs. Great.... now we have a wounded coyote to go find. We were sure ticked at him.

One reason I bought a different rifle with more range .... and a scope. To heck with a handgun, except for surprise encounters of the unfriendly kind .... if on foot ... exposed..... remember they are fast, shoot quickly if you do have the need. But normally, they see you they'll run the other way as fast as they can.

Right now, I'm liking the coyotes .... some turkeys moved in and are ruining the hunting and are destructive. More coyotes came in and are lowering the turkey population. Good for them ... hope they eat all of the turkeys.
