FBI Active Shooter Report for 2016 & 2017

The FBI has released a report titled Active Shooter Incidents in the United States in 2016 and 2017. Of particular interest to us is a portion of the conclusion on page 8, which reads:

"Armed and unarmed citizens engaged the shooter in 10 incidents. They safely and successfully ended the shootings in eight of those incidents. Their selfless actions likely saved many lives.
The enhanced threat posed by active shooters and the swiftness with which active shooter incidents unfold support the importance of preparation by law enforcement officers and citizens alike."

The entire report is worth a read, and it is available for download as a PDF. See https://www.fbi.gov/file-repository/...-2017.pdf/view

Ummmmmmm,,,,,, I thought that the FBI were the active shooters......

That actually was a good read,,,, I believe that we may have a choice of 3 solutions to this active shooter problem...

    1 - Ban the FBI
    2 - Ban Men from 14 - 66 years old
3 - Arm our citizens now

Can someone advise me what a "Active Shooter" is after the fact?
Do "inactive shooters" just kinda' retire?

This report is in the public domain
I'd prefer to see reports NOT in the public domain.

I used to study the FBI's crime reports... but now I don't trust them. They've been caught falsifying lab results, lying under oath, and conspiring against the electoral process of the United States.

The FBI-as-an-organization has gone bad, and it's time they were dismantled, all people involved with it fired, and their key tasks (if any...) assigned to other agencies.

Yup executive branch kind of grew into a monster, didn't it? Actually another branch completely. They don't answer to POTUS, but rather conspire to overthrow him. Congress has obviously lost the reigns on any oversight.
What is this report? Some flimsy attempt at regaining constitutional credibility? By an entity with power or mere existence that was never constitutional in the first place. Goes for all the alphabet soup agencies. Our founders warned us, care for the balance we perscribed... They knew what would happen if we didn't.. We are witnessing the inevitable consequences of that ignorance..
The FBI, pro 2A??? Belongs under off topic and humor IMO
Pardon me, Sir, for this difference of opinion. my personal interest in such questions is entirely extinct; but not my wishes for the longest possible continuance of our government on itís pure principles.
