Gun Ownership Rights Aren't As Safe As Many Think

Gun Ownership Rights Aren't As Safe As Many Think.
Title of article at ZeroHedge. A reminder that rights are never safe. Vigilance is required.

    One comment after the article:
"If you think gun ownership rights are "safe" just because of the 2nd amendment, I got one word for ya::

    California"

Oh, and comments are not censored. There may be some bad language.

I constantly remind gun owners of this fact.

Both major parties and the Fed in general WANT guns confiscated. The only thing stopping thatveffort is fear of the war such an action would kick off in bitter clinger fly over country.
    That's it and that's all.
And we had better be plain in our communications with them that fear is well founded or we will eventually have to prove it.

I never thought my gun rights were safe at all.

I'm from New York. We fight every day to keep what we have left.

    So far we are losing.

Firearm confiscation is only the beginning.
Until now, it is the only thing between citizenship and slavery.

In the end game an individual's rights are protected to the point he will defend them. No less no more.

One individual may give up his gun rights to get along.

Another may die with those same rights intact.

How like minded induviduals choose to group up and support each other when push comes to shove.
