New Feature: Now you can Love a Post

For those who want to give 1,000 likes but the forum software won't let you, you can now Love a Post.

JeanLouise and 1MoreGoodGuy put this together while I wasn't doing much else of value.

It doesn't actually give out 1,000 likes but it does add to the reputation of a poster.

So go ahead and share the Love, or Likes, or LOLs as you feel a post deserves.

    Mmmmm. I don't know.

Last time I went down that path it turned out to just be physical attraction.

That cat still won't come back up onto my lap.

This idea came to me today in response to ScottyNC's thread. https://www.personaldefenseforum.net...e-messing-with

Sometimes you like a post so much that a "like" just doesn't express it. I've seen other members say, "I wish I could like this 1000 times". So, think of the "love" emogi button as if you're saying you like a post 1000 times.

I ran it by 1MGG and he said why not.

Oh, and Dog is being very modest. His computer program skills are astounding. There's nothing he doesn't know about internet technology, including cyber-security.

So what have you got for 999 likes? A thousand sounds like an awful lot of likes.

Are they also adding an "off the Christmas card list" button?

It might take fewer electrons to add an "On The List" button, and it wouldn't get worn out nearly as fast.
