UMBI/UIMBI ???? BI????? What is that in English?
So, another person in America that has not read their auto policy LOL

UMBI: Uninsured Motorists Body Injury - the guy that hit you has no insurance at all

UIMBI: Under-Insured Motorists Body Injury- the guy that hit you is at fault, has insurance, but not enough to cover your injuries

BI: Body Injury Liability- if you are held legally responsible for the injuries of someone else in an auto accident

Medical Payments/PIP: pays out medical payments regardless of who is at fault

The reason why I said the BI should be high enough is that is equal to the UMBI/UIMBI

Just my opinion, but if you have assetss in excess of 500K, you need to talk to a financial advisor and make sure you have enough insurance for situations

They are actually in the Definitions section of some policies

Anyway, I was just providing some insight to the OP

Glad your daughter is recovering well. Hire an attorney and let them take the reins. Sending prayers.
