    An old friend

Mrs. Ctr and I are moving next year. Downsizing the homestead. Cleaning out old boxes in the garage and came across an old friend. Thought Id lost this one years back. My third Buck. First one was the standard 110 Hunter lost it someplace. Second was a Buck Ranger with finger groves which was my favorite. Lost that one too. This one a 110 Titanium handle I carried in the woods for years before going old school with a Case copper lock.

This sure does take me back.

Great recovery. Buck has a new 110 Hunter out with a drop point blade. They also have an auto 110. I lost my first 110 also.

I've also been carrying a Case but it's the tribal lock. Great knife stays sharp and easy to sharpen just wish it had a pocket clip.

I still have the Kabar my partner gave me in 1969. When we were reunited in 2010, after 35 years apart, I showed them, and it's still in my kitchen drawer. I still have an IOW from when my partner loaned me $10 back then. This is the person who taught me how to drive stick shift in a VW bug. Lest I criticize their driving they remind me 'I taught you how to drive...'. Yes, it's true.

Ah, Memories - but now they're real again.

    Great post, OP.
