Well, I just noticed that my Valor/ECO pic from last year disappeared, courtesy of PhotoLeakyBucket, so I'll post an updated one to include their newly adopted brother, the Valkyrie! (Center)

I just put the new Wilson Combat thin grips on my new Colt to accomodate my smaller hands. I am definitely reaching better, I hope to try them out at the range this morning. I think they change the whole personality of the pistol, and even though they are not Colt grips, they make a very sexy Colt/Wilson combination!

It's amazing how much impact can result from even modest changes in the grips.

Yours looks great. Those new panels are a bit understated, but elegant.

That is one sweet pistol. Nice beavertail safety. What model is it?

If you want to keep shrinking it, you could add a shorter trigger as well.

What work did you have done, and how did it turn out? In 2004 I ordered a Concept VIII (commander length, with a couple of minor modifications) that has never been as reliable as it should be. When I spoke with Les he claimed his guns were perfect, but did agree to take a look at it. He recut the feed ramp, and I forget what else. Shoots well, but still not reliable enough for EDC.
. I've heard his commanders often have problems. I've thought about having someone else work on it, but for now its still a safe queen.

So, any comments? What did you think of Joe Chambers?

    Thanks!

As of now, I have three Leas Bears, two PII's and one Concept VI and all run like a champ. One is well over 130,000 rounds through it.

    It's hard to beat a beautiful 1911.

WC145, I still have visions of that sexy "full melt" 1911 you've got, the one with the 1911 liquid coats of hand-rubbed finish. Mmmmm.

More, please, if you've still got 'er in the stable.
